Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TraceOne-Nexus, a European community platform that helps Vehicle Owners report stolen vehicles and helps Members share safety-first Sightings and Leads.

By creating an account, submitting a Case, contributing information, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the Safety Code.

You must be at least 16 years old or the minimum age required in your country. If you use TraceOne-Nexus on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or submit information through the platform.

You are responsible for the accuracy of account information, keeping credentials secure, and all activity under your account.

Provide truthful profile and recovery-area details so nearby Cases, alerts, and notifications remain relevant and privacy-safe.

Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or restrict accounts to protect Members, Cases, or platform integrity.

Use TraceOne-Nexus only for lawful, good-faith recovery-related purposes. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, stalk, or endanger others.

Do not submit false Cases, fabricated Leads, manipulated Evidence, duplicate reports intended to spam the network, or information you did not observe safely.

Do not attempt to bypass privacy controls, scrape private data, reverse engineer protected endpoints, or interfere with moderation or security systems.

Do not use the platform to organize pursuit, confrontation, vigilante recovery, or any activity that could put people at risk.

Vehicle Owners must have a lawful basis to report a vehicle and must submit accurate Case information, including ownership or authorization evidence when requested.

Cases, vehicle identity fields, moderation outcomes, and status events may be reviewed by moderators and shown according to platform privacy rules.

TraceOne-Nexus does not guarantee Recovery, police action, insurance outcomes, or reward payment. Owner rewards, when offered, are managed entirely outside the platform.

Members may submit Sightings, Leads, Evidence, comments, and messages only when they have relevant, good-faith information observed safely and lawfully.

Private Leads and protected Evidence remain restricted to authorized participants. Public views use privacy-reduced locations and approved content only.

By submitting content, you grant TraceOne-Nexus the licenses needed to store, moderate, display, and deliver it according to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

TraceOne-Nexus is built around observe-and-report behavior. You must follow the Safety Code at all times when viewing Cases, submitting Leads, or communicating with other Members.

Never pursue, follow, block, or confront suspected vehicles or people. Contact local emergency services when there is immediate danger.

We may review, approve, reject, restrict, or remove Cases, Evidence, Leads, comments, messages, and accounts to protect safety, accuracy, privacy, and legal compliance.

Moderation decisions may affect visibility, Trust Score, Contribution Score, badges, notifications, and account access. Appeals and audit history follow platform rules.

Core reporting, Lead submission, authorized Lead review, safety guidance, and public Case access remain free. Optional paid services may be introduced later and will be governed by pricing shown at purchase when available.

TraceOne-Nexus does not sell reputation, verification, or Lead access. Any future paid services will not change Trust Score, Contribution Score, badges, ranking position, or Lead delivery priority.

TraceOne-Nexus, its branding, software, and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, resell, or misrepresent the service without permission.

TraceOne-Nexus is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Community information may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate despite moderation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TraceOne-Nexus is not liable for theft, loss, injury, failed Recovery, or decisions you make based on platform information. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, safety rules, or legal requirements, subject to applicable law and operational retention needs.

We may update these Terms when the product, safety model, or legal requirements change. Material updates will be reflected by version and date. Continued use after notice means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.

These Terms are designed for a European service. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence continue to apply where required by law.
